What is this about?
Here we dive into the reasons and conditions under which a PhD student who has not yet received a doctoral degree could and (maybe) should take part in the review process as a reviewer.
While peer review is typically conducted by established scholars and experts in the field, there are some cases where PhD students who have not yet received their doctoral degrees may be able to participate in the review process as reviewers. Serving as a reviewer can be a valuable learning experience for the student, as it allows them to gain a deeper understanding of the peer review process and the standards of academic publishing.
