Our Proofreading Team
Our team members are native English or French speakers with experience as interpreters, translators, and proofreaders, and are all doing research here at ULB.
Pay What You Can
Rates elsewhere: Proofreading for academic manuscripts usually costs around 20EUR per 1000 words if written with a B-level proficiency in English.
Rate suggested by P&PS: We ask for a fee of 10EUR per 1000 words plus a 5EUR transaction fee, with a minimum of 10EUR total.
Because we understand that all PhD and PostDoc situations are different, this pricing is a suggestion and we will work with you to find the best solution to your proofreading needs.
We can also provide an "attestation sur l'honneur" to facilitate reimbursement for the cost through your lab or another funding body.
Moreover, since P&PS is about strengthening our research community, the cost includes an optional face-to-face meeting with the proofreader where you can ask follow-up questions about comments and suggestions they left, and work with them to make sure your ideas are coming across clearly in your final draft.
